I’m a reference librarian preoccupied with how we are on the web and the future of social media. I want to make online reference human. Currently I am focused on building community for libraries in academia using social technologies.
I was born and raised in Mississippi, went to college in Boston and stayed up North (gladly for the most part) for 15 years. I moved back home the day Katrina hit.
I run Starkville, Mississippi’s Fourth Fridays workshop for local poets, playwrights, and short fiction writers sponsored by Starkville Community Theatre. I also edit T.K. Lee, an award-winning playwright, published poet, emerging short-story writer.
